Terial magic makes your fabric stiff so it will go through the printer.
Works great for stiffening fabric before you cut out a motif, much easier and more fun!
Make your own printable, washable fabric with Bubble Jet 2000. This is what I use in my studio on all my sheets whether I think I will wash the quilts or not. You never know when your fabric may get wet!
Epson has good printers for printing on fabric. I like the Eco tank series because the ink is 80% cheaper than cartridge printers.
Although it's not the clearest for printing text on paper. I use it mainly for picture printing since this uses a lot of ink.

After using Bubble Jet 2000, a rinse reagent is needed to make the photo permanent and prevent bleeding.
Jacquard cotton sheets, not as vibrant nor washable as EQ Printables, but 1/2 the cost. Good for playing around, pillows, kids stuff etc.
I would not recommend it for a heirloom quilt.
